Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. When she was a kid, she listened to classical music as well as the old boleros. They also played traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is passionate about operas and tangos. Additionally, she enjoys drama performances. Ana began learning to sing as well as play musical instruments at an early age by her mother. The singer received more formal vocal training in the year she turned 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In her early years as a student and professional, she performed in several chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After 2000, she moved in America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she relocated to her current home in Southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. Being a teacher and a musician she's committed to many projects in the community because of her love and passion for music. Ana is also a previous singer in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able communicate with other people her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations of musicians to keep the traditions alive.
