MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin popular music scene. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he sang a duet. he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his elder brother and mom are each musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about participating in music as compulsory. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. He initially wanted to be an vet but when his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons in singing with an Cuban singer, he changed career plans.
